Kamfanin Royal Dutch Shell na Najeriya ya amince ya biya al'ummar a kasar da ke Yammacin Afirka sama da dala miliyan 110 don warware daddaden takaddamar kan malalar mai da ta faru sama da shekaru 50 da suka gabata.

Lauyan da ke wakiltar al’ummomin Ejama-Ebubu a jihar Ribas, Lucius Nwosu ne, ya tabbatar wa kamfanin dillancin labarai na AFP kan wannan matakin.
Ya kara da cewa "Wannan shawarar ta biyo bayan korafin wannan al'umma wajen samun adalci."
Babban kamfanin zai biya mutanen Ejama-Ebubu diyyar dala miliyan 110.9 don kawo karshen shari'ar da aka fara a shekarar 1991, a cewar Nwosu.
Kamfanin Shell ya tunkari wata kotu a Abuja, babban birnin Najeriya, ranar Laraba don bayyana matakin, in ji shi.
Asalin korafin da al'umma ke yi wa kamfanin na Shell ya fara ne danagne da fashewar bututun kamfanin a shekarar 1970. Kamfanin Shell ya ce wasu ne suka yi sandiyar lalacewar muhallin a lokacin yakin basasa da ke ta'azzara a lokacin.
