Islamic State Claims Attack on Kuwait Mosque

The Islamic State group has claimed responsibilty for a suicide bombing at a Shi'ite mosque in Kuwait's capital that killed at least 10 people.

An IS-affiliated group calling itself Najd Province said it carried out the attack. The bomber detonated his explosives while the mosque was packed with worshippers attending Friday prayers.

The Najd Province group has said it carried out similar deadly attacks at two Shi'ite mosques in Saudi Arabia in recent weeks.
